Graco Quattro Tour Duo Overall Rating: 9.1 / 10

Whether you have twins or two kids a couple of years apart, Graco’s Quattro Tour Duo might be just the stroller for you. It’s large and heavy. But it’s a sturdy double stroller, after all, how much lighter could it be? And the price is great for a double stroller at around $200.

Let’s take a closer look at what this Graco twin stroller can offer you.

Graco Quattro Tour Duo Analysis:

The Handles:

The Quattro Tour Duo Stroller has a U-shaped ergonomic handlebar. The two handles are vertically positioned. While the handlebar isn’t height-adjustable, the upright position of the handles makes up for it. That’s because you can put your hands on the horizontal bar as well as on the vertical handles. And when we say vertical, we mean almost vertical, as they’re a little inclined forward.

The Canopies:

Quattro Tour Duo’s rear canopy has a peek-a-boo window so you can see your child easily. The front canopy is removable. You just press two buttons on both sides of it, and lift it out. Both front and rear canopies have partly transparent sides.

The Frame:

Graco Quattro Tour Duo has an Aluminum frame. It has a curvy design, which looks nice overall. The following can be attached to the frame: Parent storage tray with two cup holders; cup/snack holder tray for the rear seat; front seat car seat adapter to accept a second Graco car seat; two cup holders for the front seat.

The Seats:

The stroller’s back seat reclines all the way to a nearly flat position (3 positions overall). The front one is a 2 position (sitting positions) reclining seat, but your child won’t be able to sleep comfortably in it. The seats cannot be machine washed. Graco recommends only wiping them with a mild soap.

The Quattro Tour Duo stroller is compatible with the following Graco car seats: Graco SnugRide, SnugRide 32 and Infant SafeSeat. These must be purchased separately, of course. Two car seats can be attached if the front car seat adapter and rear tray are already installed.

The Wheels and Brakes:

The Duo’s front wheels swivel and can be locked. There’s no suspension, though, like in Graco’s MetroLite. The front and rear wheels are quite large and made of rubber, so no flats! Maybe the ride would have been more comfortable on air-filled wheels, but flat tires in a stroller are not a pleasant surprise. The rear wheels can be easily blocked with the one-touch foot brakes.

Graco Quattro Tour Duo Miscellaneous Notes:

The Quattro Tour Duo can be easily folded with one hand. To fold it, you must push the release button with your thumb, then rotate the grip in a forward motion with your hand. So it’s safe once you take some precautions (read the manual). Don’t worry that you’ll accidentally fold the stroller when your children are sitting in it.

The basket beneath the seats is large, deep and accessible. Graco’s drop-down basket system makes accessible even when the rear seat is fully reclined.

Being a double/twin stroller, and also on the heavy side, the Quattro Tour Duo is not as maneuvrable as you would have wished. But it’s acceptable, especially on harder terrains like pavements.
